In her solo exhibition, Dadras investigates the traumatic sociocultural experiences she encountered firsthand in Iran, as well as the processes and rituals of healing that enabled her to turn her pain into positivity. The installation brings together traditional handwork, found objects, video, abandoned textiles and discarded data, and seeks to centralize disparate voices in a multidisciplinary exhibition. The event is presented during the gallery's monthly Last Wednesday hours, when the gallery opens free of charge with a cash bar.
