This three-session series explores how the way we think and talk about our bodies can shape how we experience aging. Museum educator and Body Dialogue founder Janice Stieber Rous invites participants to work through art, conversation, creative expression and mindful reflection. Each session offers a different perspective on self-perception, embodiment, and the ways greater acceptance and curiosity can be cultivated as bodies change.
The second session, What You Think About Your Body Manifests Itself, approaches the body as a vital, living, growing, dynamic work in progress, noting that people often do not see themselves that way while feeling aches and pains. Participants are invited to make art and rethink the body's lived experience.
Season pricing is $50 for members and $60 for future members, with an individual session available for $25.
