Beyond Barriers: Experience Accessibility in Action invites participants to explore how small changes to documents, websites, courses, events or campus services can eliminate barriers for students, colleagues and visitors. Attendees can move through seven hands‑on stations that demonstrate how physical spaces, digital content and communication either create or remove obstacles.
The event includes a 60‑minute Accessibility Escape Room led by Student Accessibility Services, offered in multiple sessions that require advance registration. No prior expertise is needed, and participants leave with practical ideas for more inclusive teaching, communications, programs and services. The experience is organized by the UCF Digital Accessibility Lab in partnership with the Center for Distributed Learning, Student Accessibility Services and the Office of Nondiscrimination and Accommodations Compliance; walk‑ins are welcome and RSVP is encouraged.
