Kilpex Pest Solutions, a family‑owned pest control company that has served Avalon Park and the surrounding Central Florida area for more than 18 years, says attic noises such as scratching, thumping or scurrying are often caused by wildlife. The company notes that squirrels are active during the day and may sound like fast running, raccoons are heavier and produce slower thuds, rats tend to scratch and move quickly after dark, and bats are usually heard around dusk with squeaking or chirping noises. In addition to the sounds, wildlife can damage wiring, insulation and attic spaces, and create openings that allow further pest entry.
Kilpex recommends a two‑step process that includes humane removal of the animal followed by sealing vents, roof gaps, soffits and other vulnerable areas to prevent re‑entry. The firm also offers termite inspections and preventative care. Avalon Park residents who enroll in any Kilpex pest control plan by 1/26/26 will receive a $300 credit toward wildlife exclusion and trapping services. Homeowners can schedule a free professional wildlife inspection by contacting the company at 407‑375‑2167 or visiting the office at 3662 Avalon Park E Blvd Suite 2025, Orlando.
